Quick commerce ads analytics

Ads analytics for quick commerce: who pays, where, on which app.

Each app’s ads console shows a brand its own campaigns. Shelf reads the results pages of the apps that mark their paid slots, city by city, and shows every brand in them: on your keywords, on your own brand name and across your category.

A drawing of one results page, not real results. Rows marked Ad are paid slots.

What you see

A rival’s ad map
For a rival you watch: the keywords it held a paid slot on, on each app, the cities where it did and did not, and where on the page its slots fell.
Who is on your name
The brands that held a paid slot when a shopper typed your brand name, app by app.
Who pays in your category
For each keyword of your category: the brands in the paid slots and each one’s share of them.
Your own ads, from outside
Where your paid slots showed up and where they did not, beside your unpaid place.

The screen

The ads screen in Shelf

Ads: the results page for a brand’s own name, drawn as it was read at one store with another brand’s ad above it, and the brands whose ads came up on that name, by cities

Method

How we read it

  1. 1

    Tell Shelf who to watch

Your brand and the rivals you care about. No ad account, no seller login.

  2. 2

    Shelf searches every app

At each city’s stores, city by city, noting every slot an app marks as paid, with the brand in it.

  3. 3

    You see who pays where

Shares over many reads, never one look: paid slots move between searches, so a single screen proves little.

What the apps show you, and what they do not.

What each app’s ads console shows

Questions about Quick commerce ads analytics

Which apps mark their paid slots?

Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart Minutes and JioMart. Amazon Now shows ads only to shoppers who are signed in, so its ads are not counted.

Can Shelf show what a rival spends on ads?

No. Spend, bids and clicks sit in the rival’s own ads account. Shelf shows placements: where its paid slots appeared, on which keywords, in which cities.

Does a rival in the paid slots on my name mean it bid on my name?

Not always. The apps also place paid slots by category, so a brand can show up on your name without choosing it. Shelf reports what was on the page and leaves the intent out.

Do I need a seller login?

No. You sign in to Shelf with an email address. Nothing in Shelf is built on a seller login or an ad account.

See the shelf, every day.

Every store read every day. Pick a category and see who leads it, what sells out, who ranks in its searches and who pays for its ads. Free.

No card and no seller login needed.
